We have received a few watches from Wishdoit, with the latest one being the Pirate X. As usual, the Pirate X had many interesting features on the dial and it was a watch which we love. Now we are going to be reviewing the Wishdoit Glacier Hubbard. We have a slight feeling that this watch may top it all when it comes to features.

First Impression
The watch looks fantastic. The rose gold along with the iced out feature does make the watch pop out from all angles. The zircon diamond on the strap goes really well and it is not too overloaded. The rainbow zircon on the bezel looks brilliant and this has carried on to the dial. Overall, looks wise the watch looks sublime.
Unboxing
Dial
First we have to talk about the bejeweling which is going on. There are 300 zircon diamond spread across the dial alone with 11 coloured one for the numerals. The dial looks great from all angle and the zircon diamonds are not overpowering such that it is hard to read the dial.
The index have their 11 different coloured zircon, and the colour choice for each is perfect. The inside dial matches the following rainbow zircon diamond bezel. At the 12 o’clock position, the Wishdoit logo is also iced out, which we really like.
There are three dials in operation and each have their own task. The far right dial represents the date and this is controlled by the upper pusher. The pusher is also out of the norm. It has a screw in feature where the pusher only works when you screw out the crown and click it. Similarly, the far left dial represents the date of the week, but in numbers. For example, 1 represents Monday etc. There is enough space of the sub dial to label the days of the week such as Mon and Tues. The final sub dial is for the hour. A light pink colour has been used for the background for the sub dials, which helps match the overall rose gold colour theme.
Simple baton has been used for the hour and minute hand. They have not been ice out but they do have a white top to help make them legible. A black second hand has been used and it works perfectly with the dial.
Overall, the dial and the index looks very good. The rose gold layer underneath the diamonds makes the dial standout and carry out the rose gold feature.
Casing
Let’s start with the bezel on the Wishdoit Glacier Hubbard. The rainbow zircon makes the watch looks fantastic. There are a total of 36 zircon attached to the bezel and each with a different colour. Underneath the bezel, the casing has been elevated with a rose gold outer casing.
The size of the casing is also perfect given the very colourful bezel. We are looking at 39mm by 13mm. Given this is an automatic watch, 13mm for the thickness is very impressive. The watch does not look out of place on the wrist and sits very well. The crown also do not get in the watch of the wrist.
Talking about the crown, the Wishdoit logo has been engraved and the diamond feature has flowed across. On the side of the crown, there are small zircon diamonds, just to make sure you can always looking at diamonds from all angle of the watch.
One major flaw to the watch is that the rotor is loose. Given the benefit of the doubt, we hope this is a one off and it was a poor quality control.
Open back casing has been used. The parts are all in a gold colour and the balance wheel can be seem with a ruby coloured jewel.
With Sapphire Coated Mineral Crystal used, glare is at its minimum and gives the glass a bit more durability.
Movement
Inside is a Miyota 82S7 Automatic Mechanical Movement, self-winding with 21 Jewel Bearings. One the website is does say it is 22 jewels, but on the rotor, it was 21. Nevertheless, it is a reliable movement and works well. Time accuracy, we can expect -20~+40 sec/day, with a power reserve of 80 hours.
Strap
On the Wishdoit Glacier Hubbard, we have a butterfly clasp. It is strong and sturdy. The clasp locks in very well and does it feel like it will get loose anytime soon. One lovely feature is the Wishdoit brand engraved on the insider on the clasp. There are 400 zircon diamonds on the strap, so you are always going to shine.
Giving this is a stainless steel strap, a link removal tool has been included so you may easily adjust the length to match your wrist size.
Buy, Shortlist or Avoid?
The watch looks brilliant. The one and only major let down is the loose rotor. Quality is something we looks for and the loose rotor does raises question. Yes, it is a quick fix, but you do not want to go back and forth to get this fixed and we really hope this is a one off.. Ignoring the loose rotor, we would shortlist this watch. It looks good and the price is affordable. Retailing at £348, we would price the Wishdoit Glacier Hubbard on the mid market price range.
